Booking conditions
Marina Shamal Charter Terms
These terms govern every charter booked with Marina Shamal across our fleet of 88 yachts and boats. Operating from Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour, we maintain clear conditions for payments, rescheduling, and on-board service. Please review these rules before sending your booking deposit via WhatsApp.
Reserving your date and payment steps
To secure any charter from our fleet of 88 yachts and boats, guests pay a 30 % deposit. Dates are not held without this payment. All listed rates, ranging from 600 AED to 18,900 AED per hour, already include VAT. The remaining balance is settled before departure from Dubai Marina or Dubai Harbour. Minimum rental duration is 2 hours. Every booking includes a licensed captain and crew, fuel, insurance, soft drinks, ice, towels, and life jackets. Additional items like catering, water sports, transfer, or entertainment are charged separately as requested in the chat.
Handling cancellations and bad weather conditions
If bad weather prevents sailing on your scheduled day, you hold full control over the outcome. If the weather does not allow sailing, we move the charter to another date or refund the payment, as the guest chooses. You simply agree a new date with our team in the chat. For guest-initiated cancellations outside of weather issues, the 30 % deposit paid to confirm the date remains non-refundable. Our team operates 9:00–23:00 GST daily and responds to all chat inquiries within 15 minutes.
Food, alcohol, and guest capacity on board
Guests may bring their own food and drinks, alcohol included, onto any vessel with no corkage fee. Optional catering, BBQ menus, and bar services can also be arranged upon request. Our vessels range from 33 to 164 feet, accommodating groups up to a maximum capacity of 90 people depending on the selected craft. No passport or ID is needed to board. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the captain and crew throughout the trip.
Coverage, safety equipment, and guest liability
Every charter standardly includes full vessel insurance, a licensed captain and crew, and safety equipment such as life jackets. While basic insurance coverage protects the vessel, guests remain responsible for any intentional damage caused to the boat, its furnishings, or hired equipment like jet skis, flyboards, or paddle boards. Marina Shamal provides all promised inclusions, including fuel and soft drinks, while onboard activities like water sports or live music operate under crew guidance to ensure overall safety.
